Check out this newsworthy insanity. I mean, is it real? Could it possibly be real? It took me forty-five seconds to get Wilbur to look at the camera for this one. He’s got his friend in bed with him, see.
Taking Wilbur out to play at lunchtime is a key waypoint in my days, currently. I work in the morning - this morning, on PROJECT APOLLO, the second draft of which is quite laborious as the story took some re-imagination because I didn’t believe the play’s main event in the first draft and I’m having to write the re-worked version as well as remove the unnecessary 40% of speech that I seem to add in first drafts - and then I do a couple of tasks and take Wilbur outside for as long as he’ll play for, usually while listening to podcasts or working my way through The Quietus albums of the year. And then I work again in the afternoon - I’ve got the luxury of it being a double my-own-projects day.
That’s what I’m working towards, really, being able to have as many my-own-projects days as I can. Is that what we’re all working towards?
